Hi,
I downloaded the trial for Java SPC charts. After running the setup.jar and clicking install - no files was generated.
Running on windows 7 with JRE 1.8
Any one else had this problem? |

Just tested on a 32-bit Windows 7 system and a 64-bit Windows 8.1 system.
I just downloaded the QCSPCChart for Java trial version zip file, unarchived it to the hard drive, then double clicked the Setup.jar file. I was then in the Setup program where you click on the Install button. When you click on the button, do you see any activity in the Unzipping status window? If you didn't use the default Root Dir of c:\, try that. If you did use a Root Dir of c:\, change it to another drive.
Make sure you are unarchiving the downloaded zip file first, and not running the Setup.jar program from within the zip archive.
Sometimes Windows 7 blocks the Unzipping status window from updating. Check to see if you have a Quinn-Curtis folder, on the default c:\ drive, or on whatever drive you specified. If so, the software is found in the Quinn-Curtis\java folder. |
