I have been using QCChart2D for a year and have been assigned a new project creating an application program that produces Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, specifically the SPC chart known as XBar-R. While it looks like I can do this easy enough using the SimpleLineMarkerPlot, I was wondering if Quinn-Curtis had any examples of this and other SPC charts, along with examples of SPC control limit calculations. |

Our special projects group was hired last Spring by a large manufacturer to create templates for the most common SPC charts, including Variable Control, Attribute Control, Frequency Histograms, Probability and Pareto charts. We used QCChart2D as the kernel and structured the template classes so the QA programmers could add these types of charts easily to their SPC applications.
This white paper (http://www.quinn-curtis.com/QCSPCWhitePaper.pdf) describes the basic capabilities of the generic version of the software. Quinn-Curtis retained the rights to market a generic version of the software and we are considering whether or not to do so as an add-on for QCChart2D (for .Net, .Net CF and Java).
If anyone else is interested in this software let us know by posting on this thread, or if you are not already a QCChart2D user, sending an e-mail to info@quinn-curtis.com with a Subject heading "QC SPC Comments".
