Hi.

We are evaluating charting packages again. Is there a way to drag a plot using your charting components? To describe what I am looking for:

1. A line chart with multiple Y axis, akin to the SuperZoom demo
2. User zooms in
3. User clicks and drags the plot which would retain the current zoom levels but change which part of the datasets is being viewed. Basically scrolling on X and Y by dragging the plot.

I looked at all the demos but did not see an example of this. In all cases where left mouse + drag was doing something it was to define a zoom rectangle. It would be great to be able to have for example ctrl+click+drag move the chart around.

Thanks

We have an example (FormControlExamples.LinePlotScrollBar) that uses scroll bars to pan a chart in the x- and y-direction. We don't have any examples that implement this feature by "dragging the plot" as you describe. As you might expect, we would be able to implement such a feature by designing a new class, similar to our ChartZoom class, that handled panning instead of zooming. It would be unlikely that you would be able to, without many months experience using the software. If you would like our special services group to implement this for you under contract you should contact sales@quinn-curtis.com for a quote. Otherwise we will add that feature to our list of items to consider for future releases.
