I'm trying to build a chart for a production line, where at the end of the line a Quality inspector may: APPROVE or DISAPPROVE the item.
At the end of every shift he could have, for example, 21 APPROVED and 3 DISAPPROVED. The sample size would be 24 (the total amounts of items), but for the next shift maybe 34 APPROVED and 5 DISAPPROVED, so the sample size (in this case the total of the items) differs from one shift to another.
I noticed that the number of samples per subgroup is defined when the chart is initilized, but I can't find a way of setting a different sample size for each sample. I read the documentation and take a look at the examples, but I can't find it anywhere... Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.
thanks in advace. |

Posted - 25 Jun 2009 : 15:23:35 The current version of the software, Revision 2.0, supports a p-chart template with variable sample size. If you purchased the software within the last two years, you can upgrade your software for free using your original download links. If you purchased the software more than two years ago, your download link will take you to an order page where you can purchase an upgrade. |
