I am playing with an example using the SPCBatchVariableControlChart usercontrol. Is there a way to change the Symbols on the Control Chart programatically? I can not find a property to set that will change the symbol, symbolsize, or fillflag. None of the sample projects do this.

Thanks for any help.

Thank you, that did it. I didn't see any of the properties I was searching for on that page, but you got me going in the right direction now.

You will find some examples on page 237 of the manual. Here are a few that should let you change all of the attributes you list:

this.PrimaryChart.ProcessVariableData.LineMarkerPlot.SymbolAttributes.PrimaryColor = Color.Yellow;
this.PrimaryChart.ProcessVariableData.LineMarkerPlot.SymbolAttributes.FillColor = Color.Yellow;
this.PrimaryChart.ProcessVariableData.LineMarkerPlot.SymbolAttributes.SymbolSize = 18;

this.PrimaryChart.ProcessVariableData.LineMarkerPlot.SymbolAttributes.FillFlag = true;
this.PrimaryChart.ProcessVariableData.LineMarkerPlot.LineAttributes.PrimaryColor = Color.Blue;
this.PrimaryChart.ProcessVariableData.LineMarkerPlot.LineMarkerSymbol = ChartObj.SQUARE;

The symbol attributes apply to every point of the plot, with only the symbol color allowed to change in response to an alarm condition.
