How can I get the logging system to output the number of samples (NO. INSPEC) for variable sample charts? It seems to output everything else.

Output of the variable number of samples count per sample interval is not currently an option in the software. The software will output comma separated values, up the last valid sample in a sample interval, and then output only commas for the missing values up to the maximum number of samples for the sample interval. This will keep the columns lined up and allow your data file parsing software to just count the number of samples. See the adjacent commas in the example output log line below, where the maximum number of samples per sample interval was 10, but this sample interval only had six values.
