The examples have crashed on some Windows 98 systems, sometimes when the .Net grid control is initialized, or when tooltips are displayed. It appears to be related to interaction between .Net Framework, the video driver and the display adapter. Anything other than the very latest video driver for the display adapter in your computer is suspect. Download the latest (in some cases this may be several years old) video driver for your graphics adapter. This has fixed the problem in known cases.
