I am evaluating the QCSPCChart product for our SPC system development.
Currently, I have one critical problem and can not find solution.
The problem is I need to mark the out-of-control point in different symbol or color.
But, I can not find any possible solution from the user manual.
Can anyone give a hint or possible solution for my reference.
Thanks.

That is a feature we have added to the 1.7 version of the software. We have a change of color feature for out of control points, not a change of symbol. See the picture:

This picture is created using the .Net version of the QCSPCChart software, which is already at 1.7. We plan to have the Java version of the QCSPCChart software updated to the 1.7 version of the software in 2-3 weeks. As stated on the QCSPCChart for Java page:

"The Java version of QCSPCChart is still at Rev. 1.6 and at this time does not have new features added to the Rev. 1.7 version of the .Net version. These new features include EWMA, MA and Cusum charts, variable subgroup sample sizes, and visual alarm highlighting. These features will be added to the Java version of QCSPCChart by the end of June 2008. Any purchasers of the software will be able to upgrade for free to Rev. 1.7 at that time. "
