Is it possible to add customized SPC rules?
Such as "7 consecutive points up/down".

The software does not support user customized SPC rules like you describe. It supports the 4 standard WECO rules:

1. One point plots outside of +- 3 sigma
2. Two out of three plot outside of +- 2 sigma
3. Four out of five plot outside of +- 1 sigma
4. Eight consecutive points plot on one side of the center line.

If it is critical that you have some variant on these rules, we would be able to modify the software to support a different rule set as a special services contract.

Thank you for your reply.
If so, is it possible for us to purchase source code and customized the SPC rules by myself?

We aren't selling the source code to the Java version of QCSPCChart at this time. When we do, the cost would be $800. You must previously own the Developer version of the software (JAV-SPC2-DEVR) before you can purchase the source code. We plan to make the source code available for purchase in 3-4 months.

Do you have a standard set of rules you use, or do you create new rules for every different product? If you have a standard set of rules, what are they.

It would be much, much easier for you, and less expensive, if you were to just hire us to add a new standard set of rules (very low cost), or to add the ability to create a arbitrary set of rules on-the-fly (still cheaper than buying the source, with no work on your end).

Thank you for your reply.
So far, we have the following items have to be customized,
1. add SPC rules to detect "7 consecutive points up/down"
2. change color for each sigma drawing line

Could you provide quotation for this customization?

Eventually, we still prefer to purchase source code for future's customization.
